Noms

About Two weeks ago I purchased an Oscar Vitalmix 900! Such a sleek machine - juicing, processing, mincing, you name it! Since that day I've been having up to a litre of juice every morning. I've slowly progressed from more high-glycemic drinks to mostly low glycemic (apart from the carrots!) drinks consisting of predominantly greens!
My body and I are loving it. If you want to reclaim your birth right of radiating health, and don't know where to start.. I say, start with green juices in the morning. That's all. Gradually you'll want to start dropping some of the crap that you just can't give up. The body WANTS to be healthy, naturally. You can also try Green smoothies.
I decided I'm going to start putting some of my meals up on here every now and then, since some friends and acquaintances have expressed interest in what I eat. (I'm sort of stealing this idea off Angela Stokes-Monarch, a pioneeeer in the raw food world!).

So far today I've devoured:

  • 1 & 1/2 cups of water
  • 1 cup of warm lemon water
  • 2 heaped teaspoons of Herbal Fibreblend in a cup of water
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 teaspoon of probiotics
  • 1 mug (larger than a cup) of green juice! Celery, broccoli, bok choy, parsley, cucumber, WATERCRESS, cos lettuce, 1 tsp of wheatgrass powder, 1 heaped tsp of Vital Greens.
  • 1 & 1/2 mugs of carrot, celery, watercress, and about 5 heaped tsp of Phyto Pea Protein (yum!)
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 & 1/2 mug of green smoothie/energy soup! Avocado, cos lettuce, cucumber, pink lady apple, 2 tsp maca powder, 1 tsp bee pollen, watercress, flaxseeds and a bit of water
I foresee myself having:

  • more and more and more water (my Venus water alkalizer/ionizer + fluoride filter arrive this week, so I won't have to drink crappy Cairns water at home any more!)
  • green tea
  • Apple, tahini, coconut oil, cacao powder, chia seeds, almonds, and maybe cucumber.. just like a comfort food/snack mix.
  • a couple of free range organic (unfortunately not grass-fed) eggs on chia seed bread with a salad on the side, and maybe a snack after this. This bread is sooo yummy, I haven't had bread for probably 2 months since I can't eat almost anything unless it's green. It's pretty heavy though, and I don't think my body likes it, but it's a good alternative to crappy wheat bread. The downsides are it isn't raw and it has corn and soya flour, raising agents etc.. but sometimes I have to nourish the emotional side too!
  • Pau d'Arco tea, or Peppermint & Camomile.
That's roughly it.

Food is a whole beautiful world... hopefully I can move away from my obsession with it as I keep strengthening.. and gradually move to a predominantly Raw Living Foods Vegan Lifestyyyyyyyyle!

I've started reading the Ringing Cedars series too, it's soooooo beautiful. Get your hands on a copy of "Anastasia" by Vladimir Megre if you want to take yourself on a wonderful journey. I've already started to feel better about myself and the universe, and love after reading it. It reconfirms a lot of my very strong beliefs and opinions about existence, and may arouse you to alter or reinforce yours too!

Also, I've got my last two Massage Clinic clients before I'm finished massaging for my course 'til April. If you're keen for a cheap 30min -1 hour massage or some basic Reflexology, please don't hesitate to contact me (only if you live in Cairnszszs). Qualified in May! Weeeee

Om and Prem,
